Sausage & Pear Catering loves nothing more than catering for weddings. We understand that choosing your wedding caterer is an extremely important decision for both of you. When planning the biggest day of your lives, you want nothing more than for everything to run smoothly and to plan. Your wedding catering company should be professional, unobtrusive, sensitive to your needs and able to deliver.
Claire Moore, co-owner and wedding planner, will work with you every step of the way, from initial enquiry right the way through to the day itself. Claire will ensure that your vision becomes reality and will be on hand at all hours of the day to answer questions and provide advice.

So, how does the process work?
Initially, we will discuss your needs over the phone, in person or on email. We will calculate a quotation, which includes costs for staffing, equipment and food. A deposit will be agreed and terms and conditions adhered to. You will then be invited down to our restaurant in West Bay, Dorset "PLATFORM", where you will have a full tasting and planning session.
Does the location of our event matter?
We will consider all locations for wedding catering. Please note that we may not do a site visit if the venue is very far away. We would liaise with the venue on email and over the phone in this instance.
What is included with your wedding catering?
We will provide the food and staff for the duration of the wedding reception, wedding breakfast and evening food if we are providing this. We will clear the tables after dinner and make everything clean and tidy before our departure. Please note that we always recommend hiring a local cleaning company to do the 'dirty work' the morning after the wedding, in case family members would prefer a lie in.
Do you have a brochure, what type of food do you offer?
Our new brochure is currently under construction and will be ready by Spring 26.Until then, we will work with our clients in creating a bespoke menu just for you. We offer plated dinners, canapés, BBQ buffet or sharing barbecue feasts served to the tables. We also offer a walking service i.e. food served in bowls, evening food and more.
